On one of the best days of your life, it feels like time stops. The butterflies and nerves that flow as you prepare to tie the knot with the love of your life. As your photographers, we strive to make you feel comfortable and prepared for the whirlwinds of a wedding day.
Your inquiry
It starts with your inquiry! Many times we look to book couples 8-12 months in advance. Your inquiry is the starting point to providing us the information to getting the ball rolling to capturing your big day. This way it gives us ample time to give you the ultimate wedding experience behind the lens but also to get organized. One benefit to working with us is our experience with planning weddings especially being newly weds ourselves!
MEET & GREET!
Our favorite part of this process! Once we receive your inquiry we begin the introductory process to ensure we are the ones for you. We reach out to our couples to connect and go over their inquiry through multiple means of communication. Whether we FaceTime, meet for coffee, or have a simple phone call. This is to create a sense of comfort for our couples as well as build a relationship and form chemistry with them. Tell us things like how you met! When did you know you both were meant to be? Or a story that always brings laughter and happiness. This allows us to know what to expect, answer any questions you may have and allow our couples to get to know us as well!
THREE:
ENGAGEMENT SESSION!
Your engagement session, which we love to call the appetizer of the wedding process. After speaking with our couples and getting a more in depth understanding of their vision, we set up the invoice & deposit, contract & engagement session. This session is called the appetizer as it prepares family and guests for what is to come on your big day as these are usually the photos used for the wedding invitations. What we also do for our couples is gift you a bottle of wine or champagne to celebrate completing a big step in the wedding planning process as well as to celebrate yourselves!
FOUR:
FINAL PREP & WEDDING DAY!!
As a normal process, there is a gap between your engagement session and wedding day. So generally, we love to do a final rundown of your wedding day! This way if there are any changes or updates we are well prepared since your photographers are an integral part of your day, especially from a timing and organizational aspect. We are the ones that aim to ensure you’re on time with your wedding schedule so it all runs smoothly.
FIVE:
POST WEDDING FOLLOW-UP
Once your big day is complete, one thing we offer our couples which has been a “fan favorite”, is you receive 3-5 photos the very next day! That’s right, the next day. We know the wedding day is a blur and comes and goes before you know it. We take pride in capturing every moment so in turn you have a handful of photos to cherish as we begin the photo editing process!
SIX:
PHOTO ALBUM & HARD COVER BOOK
The final piece to your experience with us is receiving your album and/or hard cover photo book. Photos generally take 4-6 weeks to edit and complete which is why we provide the instant previews the day after your wedding. The photo book is optional but to many couples it is necessary, as you get to have something tangible from your wedding day that will travel wherever you go and have memories forever!

How do you photograph weddings?
A typical wedding day with us features telling a story through our lens. A beginning, middle and end. Once our clients choose their package
Where are you based and do you travel?
Moye Photography & Arts LLC is located in Waterbury, CT. We do travel throughout the state of Connecticut but also will travel outside of the state and/or country to satisfy the needs of our customers.
When will we get our photos?
Upon completion of your photoshoot, we take pride in giving clients 3 professionally edited photos within 24-48 hours. This allows the client(s) to have something to share and cherish as we begin the photo editing process. You will then receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 3-6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, and choose your favorites.
Do you offer other services besides what is displayed?
There is not a specific type of photoshoot that we can't do. We have done photo sessions with pets, for real estate and also for businesses. For inquiries please visit our "Contact" page.
We rarely take professional photos. How would we pose?
Our business takes pride in capturing you during your happiest moments. To do so we create a warm, free, happy environment for our clients. Whether it be through conversation and how we relate or even through specific props provided by us to create that sense of comfort.
